Mike Shea
About our recipient: Mike entered the Los Angeles Police Academy in July 1987 and has served in the 77th Division for the past 26 years. He brings a unique style to policing, creating a place in his life for his community to be part of his extended family. For example, Mike’s been known to buy food for his arrestees prior to processing them. The respect he brings to his job and all members of the community he has sworn to serve and protect makes him integral part of the history at that division.
