A lieutenant at the Irvine Police Department, Kent was recently named to the inaugural “40 Under 40” list by the International Association of Chiefs of Police.

The award acknowledges 40 law enforcement professionals younger than 40 years old who demonstrate leadership and commitment to their job.
Sticking with his childhood dream, even after his family immigrated to the United States, Kent not only achieved it, but also became one of the best in the world at what he does.
