To access our online courses, you should have:

—Internet access (Internet Explorer 5+, Netscape 6.0+, or Mozilla 1.0 are recommended)
—An e-mail account (you will be given a UCI e-mail account for use)
—Windows XP or 98/2000 running a Pentium III or better processor or Macintosh G3 (or better). (Unix or Linux-based computers that can run Netscape or Internet Explorer also work.) If you are using Windows XP, you will need to download javascript.
—A 56 Kbps modem or broadband internet connection (DSL, cable, satellite).
—A monitor with at least a 13-inch diagonal screen that is able to render at least 16K colors at 800 X 600 resolution
—16-bit sound card
—Flash 4.0 browser plug-in
—RealOne plug-in (for courses which contain audio or video)
